Turkey fillet with vegetables
Second courses
- 500 g turkey fillet
- 6 slices of bacon
- 1-2 table. butter spoons
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3 green onion stalks
- 250 ml vegetable broth
- 250 g green peas
- 1 small jam lettuce or bunch of spinach
- Salt
- Ground black pepper
- 100 ml cream
Recipe for turkey fillet with vegetables
1. Wash the fillet, dry and cut into slices. Rinse green onions and chop. Peel the garlic and crush in a mortar. Wash lettuce thoroughly, pat dry and cut into pieces. Cut bacon.
2. Heat the butter in a frying pan, fry the bacon in it until golden brown and transfer to another bowl. In the pan where the bacon was cooked, lightly fry the turkey fillet. Add onion and garlic and sauté, stirring for 2 minutes.
3. Add bacon, pour in vegetable broth and simmer covered for 15 minutes over medium heat. Remove the lid and cook until the sauce formed during the stewing of the turkey is reduced by half.
4. Add green peas and lettuce, salt and cook for 4 minutes. Stir in cream and bring to a boil. Season with salt and ground black pepper to taste and remove from heat. For a side dish, offer tender mashed potatoes or boiled rice.
