Ingredients
  • 300 ml of kefir (take it out of the refrigerator in advance)
  • 5 g yeast
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp Sahara
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 0.5 kg flour
  • 5 chicken eggs (+ one more for greasing)
  • add green onion if desired
When there is yeast left, and there is nothing meat in the refrigerator, a tasty and quick roll with egg and onions can come in handy.

1. Yeast is bred in warm kefir + salt + sugar + oil. It is necessary to knead everything thoroughly to make a dough. Check with your hand, it should be soft. Let the dough rise for 30-40 minutes. in a warm place (for example, near a burning stove burner).

2. Filling: cut hard-boiled eggs, salt, combine with onions.

3. Roll out the dough quite thinly, spread the filling and distribute it evenly over the entire dough. Next, roll up the roll, pinching the edges.

4. On the prepared baking sheet (lined with parchment), lay out the roll with the “seam” down.

5. After 15-20 minutes, when the roll begins to rise, it must be greased with a beaten egg (pastry brush or a simple feather).

For a brighter flavor, it is advisable to sprinkle sesame seeds on top while the roll is still baking.
