Potato pancakes in Ukrainian
Pancakes, fritters
- Chicken fillet - 300 gr.
- Potatoes - 250 gr.
- Chicken eggs - 1 pc.
- Onion - 200 gr.
- Mushrooms - 150 gr.
- Vegetable oil
- Salt
- Spices
Recipe for potato pancakes in Ukrainian
We peel the potatoes, then rub it on a fine grater or beat it in a blender. Then add the yolks, pepper, salt and flour. We mix everything thoroughly.
We pass the chicken and half of the onion through a meat grinder or use a blender, salt and add to the dough. The dough intended for potato pancakes is thoroughly mixed. You can add just a little soda and just a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil, but this is to your own taste.
We give ten minutes for the mass to infuse and proceed, in fact, to baking potato pancakes. We give the dough, based on potatoes, the shape of a pancake and bake it in a hot frying pan so that there is a golden crust on both sides.
For gravy to potato pancakes, you need to fry the chopped onion in any vegetable oil along with finely chopped mushrooms. Serve still warm with this gravy, if desired, decorate with herbs.
