Ingredients
  • 2 Cornish chickens 700 g each
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 cup orange juice (you can substitute apple juice)
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 4 garlic cloves
  •  2 tbsp. l. olive oil
For any picnic or holiday, Cornish chickens, which are distinguished by their most tender meat, are ideal for you. If you bake their carcasses on the grill, your guests will remember this picnic for a long time and will consider you the best hostess. You should pay attention to the fact that the dish must be marinated for at least 10 hours, so it will be juicier and tastier.

Preparing the chickens for cooking. We cut into halves and put the carcasses in a deep baking sheet, after washing and drying them.

To make the chicken tender, you need to properly prepare the marinade. For him, garlic and onions should be peeled and chopped. Separate the rosemary and thyme from the sprigs and chop as finely as possible. Mix orange and lemon juice, olive oil with herbs, garlic and onions, add a little water. Mix the resulting marinade well and pour it over the chickens. Cover the meat with a lid or cling film and send to marinate in the refrigerator for 10 hours.
