Chicken baked with potatoes

- chicken - 2 pcs.;
- potatoes - 1 kg;
- crushed garlic - 6 cloves;
- olive oil - 0.3 tbsp.;
- spicy smoked paprika - 2 tsp;
- allspice Jamaican allspice - 1 tsp (if you do not have such pepper, then use a mixture of black and white pepper or garam masala seasoning);
- lemon juice - 3 tbsp. l.;
- dried herbs - to taste;
- salt - to taste;
- honey - 1 tbsp.
Recipe for chicken baked with potatoes
Chicken or chickens, first of all, you should wash and dry with a paper towel. Salt carcasses of chickens or hens on all sides and inside. Wash potatoes, peel and cut. In a separate bowl, mix all the ingredients for the marinade. Rub the meat with the resulting marinade, and brush the potato slices with it. Do not forget that the legs of the carcass must be tied, and the wings should be tucked behind the back. Leave the resulting dish to marinate for 1 hour.
Chickens and potatoes, after an hour, you should put in a baking dish. Pour a quarter cup of water over them and cover with foil. Place the dish in the oven and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 1 hour and 20 minutes. After that, remove the foil and bake for another 20-30 minutes. You can sprinkle the finished dish with herbs or lightly roasted pine nuts.
