Lentil soup
Ingredients
  • 1500 ml - ready-made broth (meat or vegetable);
  • 100 g - red lentils;
  • 2 pcs - onions;
  • 1 piece - carrots;
  • 2 pcs - medium-sized potatoes;
  • 1 tbsp - vegetable oil for frying;
  • salt to taste.
Easy to prepare, very tender and tasty, light soup.

Wash the lentils until the water is clear. Peel and wash potatoes, carrots and onions. Cut the potatoes into small cubes and put them together with the lentils in a saucepan.

Pour in the broth and bring to a boil over heat. Then turn the fire down.

On a fine grater, grate the carrots and cut the onion into half rings. Pour oil into a heated frying pan and fry the onion first. As soon as it becomes soft, add carrots.

When the carrots become soft, put the roast in a pot with soup. After 15-20 minutes salt the soup and remove from heat.
