Lentils with mushrooms

- 1 cup lentils
- 250 gr. mushrooms
- 1 head of onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 carrot
- Pepper
- Salt
- Dill or parsley greens
- Vegetable oil
Recipe for lentils with mushrooms
Rinse the lentils, put them in a saucepan, pour three glasses of water. Boil the lentils, bringing to a boil, then lower the heat, remove the foam, salt and cook for less than half an hour until the lentils are soft. But the shape of the lentil should be preserved. If after cooking there is a lot of liquid left, then you just need to drain it.
Finely chop the onion, garlic, grate the carrots and cut the mushrooms into medium-sized pieces. In a heated frying pan in sunflower oil, fry onion and garlic until soft, then add carrots here and a little later - mushrooms. While frying the whole mixture, wait until the vegetables are ready.
After that, add lentils to the vegetables, mix everything thoroughly and hold for another 5-6 minutes. Before serving, salt, add pepper and garnish with herbs.
