Ingredients
  • 350 g honey
  • 7 chicken eggs
  • 400 g flour
  • 150 g vegetable oil
  • 100 g sugar
  • Half a teaspoon of soda
  • Salt
  • Vinegar
In this recipe you will learn how to cook chak-chak. Chak-chak is a Tatar national delicacy, many consider it Bashkir, but it is not. This dessert is loved by all adults and children, and you will definitely enjoy its preparation.

Knead the dough from flour, salt, eggs and soda slaked with vinegar.

Let the dough rest for 20 minutes.

Now roll out the dough into a thin layer, approximately 2 mm and cut into 2 cm strips.

Chop the resulting strips into strips, about 0.5 cm each.

Heat the vegetable oil and fry the straws of our future chak-chak until golden brown.

Now melt the honey, add sugar to it and bring to a boil until foam forms.

Put straws in a plate and mix well with the newly made mixture of honey and sugar.

Put the resulting chak-chak on any dish (preferably flat) and you can sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
