Ingredients
  • 1 liter homemade non-sour milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon of vinegar 9%
  • cheese curd that will separate when cheese is cooked + salt
A very simple recipe for homemade cheese. The cheese is soft, tasty and moderately salty.

We send the pan with milk to the fire. At the first sign of boiling, add salt and vinegar.

Keep the pot on fire for 2 minutes. During this time, the milk will be divided into two components: white cloudy water (syrovatka) and milk "flakes".

Pour the contents of the pan into a colander, previously covered with gauze (in 4 layers). Cover with gauze edges. We install a small load. I put down a large mug filled with water.

After 2 hours, take out the cheese and cut it into pieces with a sharp knife.

Salt whey. I added a teaspoon of salt to 250 ml of liquid.

We send the cheese to the brine, and then we send the container with the cheese to the refrigerator.
