- incomplete glass of kefir (to the "belt" 250 ml glass)
- 5 tbsp vegetable oil (I have refined sunflower oil)
- 200 g flour
- half a cup of regular sugar + 5-10 g vanilla sugar
- a teaspoon of soda without top (or 2 tsp baking powder)
- chips salt
"Biscuit" prepared according to this recipe differs from the classic one in both taste and density. It turns out denser and not as airy as a biscuit on eggs. And yet, if you need to bake a pie or a cake, and there were no eggs in the house, this recipe will become just a lifesaver. The cut cake can be smeared with jam, condensed milk, and custard - I tried all combinations, it turns out simple, tasty, and, very importantly, quite economically.
Recipe for making "biscuit" without eggs

Thoroughly mix flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl.

In a separate bowl, mix vegetable oil, kefir and sugar. Mix well until all sugar is dissolved.

Mix both mixtures, mix well until “bubbles” appear.

Fill a form lined with parchment with dough. We cook a biscuit without eggs in the oven for about 20 minutes at 180-200-t ° C. Watch the color of the crust. Readiness is checked, as always - with a dry wooden skewer.
