Baton "Appetizing"
Ingredients
  • "the day before yesterday" loaf
  • hard cheese 150 grams
  • mayonnaise - 3-4 tbsp. spoons
  • butter - 50 grams
  • olives - handful
  • garlic - 3 or more cloves
  • a few sprigs of dill

Very interesting and tasty alternative to croutons. The crust of the loaf turns out to be ruddy, crispy, and the pulp is tender, tender, soaked in cheese and garlic flavors and aromas.

Recipe for making a loaf "appetizing"

We cut the loaf into pieces no more than 1 cm thick. We do not cut through to the end. We leave the “bottom” of the loaf whole.

We combine all the products for the cheese mixture: grated garlic, chopped dill, grated cheese, mayonnaise, olives cut into “wheels” and butter.

Lubricate the pieces of loaf on both sides. Wrap tightly with foil.

We bake at 180 gr. about 20 minutes. Then we open the foil and bake the loaf for some more time. As soon as the crust becomes beautiful - remove the baking sheet from the oven.
