Lamb with prunes
Ingredients
  • 800 gr. lamb brisket
  • 1 onion
  • Cinnamon on the tip of a knife
  • 150 gr. prunes
  • 1 tbsp without a heap of flour
  • 1.5 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp Sahara
  • Pepper
  • Salt
Sometimes lamb has a slightly unpleasant smell, prunes are ideal for this problem. We suggest you cook lamb with prunes in Egyptian style.

Recipe for lamb with prunes

Pour boiling water over prunes in the evening and let it soak for a long time.

Before cooking, cut the meat into pieces no more than 1 cm thick.

Chop the onion, then fry in vegetable oil.

Add lamb slices to the fried onions and fry everything together a little. Now sprinkle the lamb with cinnamon and flour, add pepper and salt.

Pour boiling water over the meat so that it is completely hidden. Thus, simmer the meat under a closed lid until tender.

Now drain all the water from the prunes and squeeze them out. Some time before the lamb is ready, add prunes to the pan.
