- Green tea - 4-6 teaspoons
- Mint (twigs ~ 4-6 cm) - 2-3 branches
- Honey / sugar - 4-6 teaspoons
- Water - 0.5 l
Moroccan tea is a sweet green tea with mint, the tradition of brewing which exists not only in Morocco, but also in many other North African countries from Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Libya to the Sahel countries, from Guinea to Sudan. Its brewing recipes vary depending on the country, but the principle is the same - it is a strong, boiled, very sweet tea with mint.
African Mint Green Tea or Moroccan Mint Green Tea Recipe

Put tea in a teapot, pour cold water over it and bring to a boil.

Add mint, honey or sugar to the tea, stir, let it boil, check for taste, if the tea is too bitter, then add sugar or honey. Leave to steam over very low heat for 5 minutes.

Remove the kettle from the heat and leave to infuse for 3-5 minutes in a warm place.

Pour the tea into a cup or glass, raising the teapot high while pouring so that the tea foams, and back into the teapot.

Repeat the operation several times until a good foam is formed.

Pour tea into small cups or glasses (100 ml) raising the teapot high to form foam.
